Private Jets At Your Fingertips
How did you come up with this idea to revolutionize the reservation process for private jets, and develop this service?
After serving in the British armed forces, I spent some time as a freelance pilot. One day, I was flying from Nice to London, without passengers as the plane simply needed to be moved. Problems such as that, from inefficiency to wastefulness, cause prices to go up for passengers and prevent private planes from being considered a valid form of transportation.
My idea was to use technology to streamline the traditional reservation process for a private jet. I started by creating revolutionary software to help make these jets more accessible to the general public.
How does the application work?
The major problem in reserving a private jet rests in the complexity of calculating the cost of a flight. There are millions of variables and as every flight has to be calculated from zero due to the customized nature of the industry, it takes even the most experienced professional about a half of an hour to provide an estimate.
To put this process online, we needed to assemble an enormous amount of data and code it using an extremely complex algorithm, in order to make the calculations in just a few seconds.
What are the advantages of this service compared to a traditional reservation service?
There are considerable differences between Stratajet and the more traditional private jet reservation services.
Private jets, at first glance, are a hassle-free luxury, but the means to reserve them were not always so easy. Brokers are in charge of supervising all requests for a flight. They submit these requests to a network of operators who must manually calculate the cost of each flight, case by case. A certain number of companies claim that they have automated this process by offering a website that transmits the request for a flight, but these requests are still transmitted to the operators.
On the other hand, the Stratajet technology eliminates the need for a broker and does all of the calculations directly for the operators. As a result, clients are not subject to these intermediary steps and can retain total control of their own reservation.
What is the average time to reserve a flight?
Thanks to the technology running behind the scenes, the reservation process for a flight on this system is incredibly simple. Because we know the exact placement of all the planes in the system at any given moment, in just a few seconds clients can search and compare the exact prices for private jets and make immediate reservations with a credit card or even a digital imprint via Apple Pay. The entire process can be done in less than two minutes based on the connection to the site or the app.
For last-minute requests, it is also possible to reverse a plane as little as three hours before take-off.
What kinds of planes are available to your clients?
Two-seaters, turbo-props, every high-end, and long-range... There are 1,250 planes in the Stratajet system. For example, the Cessna Citation Mustang, a rather lightweight plane with a capacity for six passengers, is perfect for a group of friends! For onboard service, Stratajet maintains staff 24/7 to meet all supplemental requests made by travelers.
Key points: Stratajet is a reservation platform for private jets. Available on the web as well as a mobile app, for instant access to private jets with going through a broker and reserve your flight at attractive rates.
Plus: The beauty of Stratajet is that you can reserve a private jet to and from any airport. Stratajet is operation 44 countries across Europe and while there are but 500 airports available in these countries for commercial planes, private planes can use more than 1,200 airfields. This gives clients greater flexibility in terms of where they can travel and get closer to their final destination.

“Perfection Lies In The Details”
Experts for interior and exterior design for the past 20 years, Sabrina Monte-Carlo provides a large selection of furniture, lighting, fabric, linens for the home, tableware, and decorative objects from the world’s leading brands. Sabrina Monteleone-Oeino, principal designer at Sabrina Monte-Carlo, and her staff have completed numerous projects from conception to completion: homes, chalets, yachts, and private jets.
What is your primarily area of design?
Sabrina Monte-Carlo provides a solution for those who are seeking excellence and want to stand out in every sense. That is why we provide our clients with a selection of the best products from the world’s top luxury brands from interior and exterior furniture to fine tableware, and accessories. By collaborating with these brands, we are able to offer our exacting clients an absolute elegance, unexpected combinations, and personalized designs, and no matter where you are, luxury is universal.
What is your source of inspiration?
I start from a simple concept: every client is unique and the design and accessories selected should take that into account. Certain clients know exactly what they want, which helps facilitate our task. Others give us carte blanche. That’s very exciting and it’s also a real challenge for us to fully understand the needs of our clients. In every case, we always offer our expertise and provide advice in the choice of different materials available, colors, textures, the art of mixing styles, the latest trends, and finally, technical questions. For example, aboard yachts due to strict regulations and the salty humid environment, certain standard materials can absolutely not be used.
How different is one project from another?
There are as many clients as there are projects. We strive to provide that which best reflects the personal taste and needs of the client. The key is the ultimate satisfaction of the client. All of our projects are interesting but I have to admit that yachts are always my favorite. Everything aboard a yacht must be thought out in advance. For example, the furniture must remain immobile while the yacht navigates through all kinds of bad weather. Numerous other factors must also be taken into account during the design process. Numerous other factors should be account for at the conception stage as well. Fabrics must be flame retardant, there must be sufficient storage space, and the colors on the inside and outside must be coherent to create a sensation of prolonging the interior spaces…
How much time does it take to complete a project?
The length of a project depends on the project itself. For a 90-meter yacht, it could take us several months. On the other hand, a two-room apartment could be finalized in just a few weeks.
What are the different steps of a project?
Every project starts with a face-to-face conversation with the client. It is very important to understand their tastes and their lifestyle. The most essential thing is to know who they plan to use their property. For example, is a yacht designed for private cruising or will there be business meetings, will it sail more in the summer or the winter, do the clients have small children…
Key points: The success of their work rests on the much quoted aphorism by Michelangelo, describing the inspiration that motivated his endless quest for excellence: “Perfection lies in the details.”
Plus: Having designed more than 90 yachts, Sabrina Monte-Carlo is renowned for their knowledge and expertise in the world of yachting. Every project includes close collaboration with the shipyard, the naval architects, and the best-known designers.

Designer Of More Than 90 Yachts
Expert interior and exterior designers for the past 20 years, Sabrina Monte-Carlo provides a large selection of furniture, lighting, fabric, fine linens for the home, tableware, and decorative objects from the world’s leading brands. Sabrina Monteleone-Oeino, principal designer at Sabrina Monte-Carlo, and her staff have completed numerous projects from conception to completion: homes, chalets, yachts, and private jets.
Sabrina Monte-Carlo is especially renowned for their knowledge and expertise in the world of yachting. Every project includes close collaboration with the shipyard, the naval architects, and the best-known designers.
Galactica Super Nova
In collaboration with the leading Dutch shipyard, Heesen Yachts, and renowned naval architect Espen Oeino, Sabrina Monte-Carlo provided the luxurious interior and exterior furniture for the 70-meter Galactica Super Nova mega motor yacht. With a contemporary allure, combining teak and gray lacquer, the outdoor furniture is adorned with an impressive quantity of personalized cushions.
The brushed, highly polished stainless steel of the central staircase on the yacht has curved stairs protected by fine steel strips that appear to spin out of the central support post, hug the treads and then continue out to wrap the walls of the curved stair surround. The effect is striking, original, organic and reminiscent of a seashell.
Galactica Super Nova is aesthetically unified on all of the decks, interior and exterior: the yacht was conceived with a “beach-like” style that is modern, light, and pleasant. The look of every space is consistent, and the details are identical, from the captain’s bridge to the main deck and the beach club. There is diversity in the materials used and the ceiling styles that defines each space.
Over the period of a year, the team worked on selecting the tableware, stemmed glasses, and silverware in a refined, elegant style from some of the most prestigious European manufacturers. Works of art complete the sophistication of the interiors created by the renowned Dutch company, Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. The warm interiors feature three different kinds of wood: sycamore, two types of wenge, and teak. The woodworking and cabinetry has a contemporary, smooth style that allows the richness and grain of the wood to be seen.
In terms of consistent design, all of the artwork aboard Galactica Super Nova is framed in the same wood and the same style as the wood used in each cabin, and adds to the continuity of the style and ambiance found throughout the yacht. Sabrina Monte-Carlo also worked hard on researching high-quality materials, innovative design, and personalization of the bed and bath linens, accessories, and amenities.
Key points: Galactica Super Nova evokes the motto of the design firm: Perfection Lies In The Details.
Plus: Decorative objects in various shades of blue—the signature color of Sabrina Monte-Carlo—brighten the subtle gray color scheme on the yacht.

The Successor To A True Sports Car Dynasty
“A true sports car with a sharper look and a keener dynamic edge, the new Vantage is the Aston Martin that pure driving-machine enthusiasts have been waiting for,” declares Dr Andy Palmer, president and CEO of Aston Martin.
With the complete integration of the engine, transmssion, electronic rear differential (E-Diff), dynamic torque vectoring, dynamic stability control, adaptive damping and the electric power-steering systems, each mode optimizes every area of the car as one.
With each step the Vantage gains in agility and responsiveness, its character becoming progressively sharper, more vocal and more exciting. This is the essence of the Vantage driving experience - a car that’s never less than connected and engaging with the breadth of capability to revel in challenging roads and bare its teeth on the track.
A spectacular new Aston Martin sports car demands a bold and distinctive design language. Pure, sculptural forms create an athletic, predatory stance, while the minimal front and rear overhangs, muscular flanks and broad haunches express the agility and dynamism inherent within the car. New head and tail lights form dramatic new signatures giving the Vantage unmistakable road presence and contribute to a strong and individual identity within the growing Aston Martin model range.
The incredible design story continues inside the Vantage, with a dynamic and focused sports car cockpit that rejects long, fluid curves in favour of sharp, focused lines denoting the more aggressive nature of the car. A high-waist interior theme and lower driving position creates a more immersive driving experience, and contributes to significant gains in occupant space and significant improvement in headroom compared with the outgoing Vantage. A combination of rotary and toggle style controls have been used for their tactile and intuitive functionality. Likewise, the PRND transmission buttons have been moved into a triangular formation so as to cluster major controls into clearly defined zones. The interior also offers generous stowage space, with useable room behind the seats and generous double-tier storage areas.
Price: 155 294 €
Key points: With a bold new look, as well as a high-effiiency performance, the brand new Vantage has an alloy 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that generates 503 horsepower and 505 lb/feet of torque; 8-speed automatic transmission.
Plus: For the first time on an Aston Martin, the new Vantage has an electronic rear differential (E-Diff) (E-Diff). This differential not only makes the car more comfortable but also more composed in terms of straight-line stability and on curves.
